Training Roundup – April 2017

The National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) conducted a First Responder Safety Training in Zachary, LA on March 22nd and 23rd.

The training was funded through a project of the North Central Texas Council of Governments and hosted by the Louisiana Clean Fuels Coalition . The training was held at the Joint Emergency Services Training Center, maintained an operated by the Louisiana State Police.

Workshops were provided for fire fighters, EMS workers, and law enforcement personnel.

On March 24th, NAFTC Director Bill Davis traveled to northeast Ohio for an Earth Day Coalition workshop. As part of their “Fuel for Thought” series, the workshop covered expanding the audience of electric vehicles. Ohio EV Solutions and MotorCars Honda also participated.

This workshop is the third in a series that also featured propane autogas and compressed natural gas .
