Our Dual Admissions transfer partnerships make it easy to transfer to another college after earning your associate’s degree here, and the College also has transfer agreements with many colleges and universities in the region and beyond.

Our Automotive Technology – Automotive Management and Marketing Option offers a specialized option leading to an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Automotive Management and Marketing. This option provides you with an opportunity to earn a degree that utilizes your technical and business skills by building upon a strong academic core. This program prepares you for a career as an automotive management and marketing specialist, service manager, service writer, parts specialist and aftermarket or retail manager. You will also be prepared to take the auto industry’s certification exam for customer service professionals.

Certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), our Automotive Technology – Automotive Service Technology Option leads to an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. As the automotive industry has undergone a parts and service revolution, the increased complexity of the modern automobile has created a demand for highly skilled, technologically advanced automotive professionals. This program prepares you for a career as a mechanic, safety inspector or shop supervisor. Hands-on learning, internships and certified instructors will help you succeed. Graduates are also prepared to take the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence certification exams.

The Automotive Service proficiency certificate is designed for individuals who are interested in entering the field of automotive technology with a basic set of core skills. Students who complete the proficiency certificate will be able to diagnose an automotive braking system, repair and align an automotive steering and suspension system, analyze an electrical fault and more. Students will be prepared for a career in small shops, dealerships or chain-based repair facilities. When completed, the courses may be applied towards the Automotive Technology – Automotive Service Technology Option degree.
